Continuing our engagement to go that ‘extra mile’ for our customers, Rf-Technologies has launched a new BIM object library. This comprehensive library embeds key product and asset data and 3D models for a large range of fire dampers, butterfly dampers, smoke control dampers and shutters.
With an increasing number of customers already embracing BIM and capitalizing on the benefits and opportunities it brings, Rf-Technologies fully acknowledges the significance of manufacturers’ data in the success of BIM projects.
Moving forward we will continue to invest in and further extend our BIM object library allowing specifiers to easily incorporate Rf-t products into a BIM model and associated component database.
You get access to our Rf-t BIM library via link.rft.be/bim. More than 16.000 references are already available, including the latest products such as the CRE60, the VRE, and the Kamouflage MP and ME.
You can search the library via the product selector, which you can use to identify the correct products based on filters. Or you can also search by name via the search query. Once the products have been found, you can consult and download all kinds of information.
In addition to Revit models (rfa format), the library also contains IFC and Archicad models. You can enrich the content with technical brochures, specification texts, DoPs and classifications…. The Revit models can be downloaded in your own library or placed directly in your active Revit layer. And with the Revit plug-in, you can access the library directly from your Revit session.
